Using frozen meatballs and canned beans, this recipe packs all the flavor of Sloppy Joes sandwiches into a quick and easy weeknight dinner

Prep
Open the cans of Manwich and Pork & Beans cans using a can opener. Set aside
Cut thawed meatballs into small pieces using a sharp knife. Ground beef can also be used in place of meatballs
Instructions
Spray a large skillet with cooking spray and place over medium-high heat. Wait until the pan surface is warm to add the meatball pieces
Once the meatballs are added, stir occasionally. Stir the meatballs every 2 minutes with the wooden spoon to ensure that all sides of the meatballs get cooked. The sides will turn brown as they cook. This should take 6-8 minutes on medium-high heat
If the meatballs stick to the pan when you go to stir them, make sure to add 1/2-1 tbsp of olive oil to the pan surface and stir. If you think the pan surface is drying out, make sure to add oil to prevent sticking
After meatballs are cooked and are evenly browned on all sides, turn the heat down to low. Measure out 1.5 cups of Pork & Beans and 1 cup of Manwich
Slowly pour the Manwich and beans mixture over the meatball pieces in the large skillet
When pouring, beware that the mixture may splatter when it comes in contact with the hot pan. To minimize the splatter, reduce heat to low, pour slowly, and use a tin foil sheet to slightly cover the pan while pouring. If the mixture does splatter, simply stir it into the meatballs as you slowly pour
Turn the heat to medium-high. Stir the Sloppy Joe mixture every few minutes to reduce the sauce until thick (15-20 minutes)
⏰ Set timer for 15 minutes
Once the Sloppy Joe mixture is reduced to an appropriate consistency, turn off the burner and scoop the mixture evenly onto 2 hamburger buns
